The original Star Wars Galaxies in .iso format, taken from another site and reposted here to Pirate Bay. Since SOE dumped SWG entirely, they've got no room to complain about the SWGemu community. This torrent is for them. If, for some reason, you don't already know what SWGemu is; it an emulator that allows privately run, non-profit servers to host the original pre-CU and pre-NGE version of SWG (a.k.a. the REAL game). Simply install this and then the SWGemu patch and you should be ready to go (after registering at an SWGemu host site, of course). Notes: This torrent does NOT contain the SWGemu itself, but you can get that easily enough from any SWGemu host site. This torrent DOES include JUMP TO LIGHTSPEED, which should prove handy if the SWGemu people ever get around to implementing that feature. The History: Ever since the dawn of WoW, every game developer around has thrown all imagination out the window in favor of making yet another insipid redressed WoW clone or worse - turn already existing games into cheap WoW clones. This was the fate of SWG as well. But, unbelievable as it may seem, not everyone in the world wanted to play WoW or any of it's legion of clone games. Some people actually liked a game system free from levels, bound items, auction houses, and narrow prefabricated classes that molded everyone into cookie cutter characters differentiated only by... well, nothing, really. Sadly, SOE decided that the off chance of trying to lure away WoW addicts with their NGE expansion that turned SWG into "WoW with Lasers" was worth sacrificing both a great, original and complicated game along with their entire existing playerbase. At no point did it ever occur to them that WoW players may prefer playing actual WoW over any wannabe clone games. Their gamble failed big time & official SWG was shut down entirely due to having turned into a complete and utter failure. However... there are still those who remember the original SWG, and the time before the dark shadow of WoW taking over the world of MMORPGs & molding them into it's own bland image. The SWGemu community appeared at some point, using private, non-profit servers to offer this game to old fans and new. All you needed was the disks. And whaddaya know... here they are! Enjoy!
Can this be played offline?
I'm guessing that there are probably some private servers being set up...
search star wars galaxies emu, swg:anh, and galaxies reborn for online play.
I was wondering since SWG shut down does this tourrent work and if it does will it work on windows 7?
I registered here just to warn people that this is a bad torrent... The images are viruses. When I mounted disc 1 it broke my daemon tools and wouldnt let me start the program... It also would not let me shut down my PC using the start menu..... Oh and I couldnt edit any network things either... And to top it off, the readme said this: "Pwn'ed By HarryRamsbottem (-_-(-_-(-_-(-_-)-_-)-_-)-_-)"
So I think this is a trap.... This person doesnt give a shit about the swgemu community, he just wants to break your computer....
Fuck you asshole ┌∩â”(â—£_â—¢)┌∩â”

@spartanr i've scanned it with trend micro and norton. no viruses found. i've also installed it, didn't break my pc. The install directory is also clean.
I scanned it in Trend Micro and Norton came back clean. Installed fine. Install directory clean also.
No viruses found, installs fine, I was playing on the SWGEmu Liberator server using this torrent so I can attest that it 100% works.
Although I actually have the original disks (retro-gaming is a hobby of mine), I went ahead and ran these files into a duplicate directory just to test their functionality with SWGemu.
As for Spartanr...
How to spot an (paid?) Anti-Pirate Bay Troll:
1) Claims everything is a virus and with very creative descriptions of it's effects. So creative, in fact, that they completely throw reality out the window and claim viruses can do stuff that only happens in movies. Like putting taunting pop-up messages on your screen to announce that you've been infected. Real viruses haven't worked that way since the 1980s, if ever. Real viruses don't like to announce their presence, after all. But if all someone knows about computers is what they've see on TV, well then that's the kind of poetry you'll get from them when they go into detail of what they image a virus infection to be like.
2) "I registered just to warn you all" Translation: I am a bot program who registers just to access comments & spread lies. Said account will go around & poop on as many pages as possible before getting deleted & banned. I will then immediately re-register under a different name. Wash, rinse, repeat.
3) You will often notice random gibberish mixed into to their comments, such as "ââ€Å’∩ââ€Â(â—£_â—¢)ââ€Å’∩ââ€Â" This is due to either the limitations (read:bugs) of the bot software, or the limitations of the meth-addled wastrels that Big Software hires to do this crap in person.
I hope that this information has been helpful to everyone, and that you'll join me on Liberator sometime.

None of the 3 base game images work. They're all corrupt. Can't open them with any of my virtual drives or WinRar.
The JTL image works just fine, though.
